Welcome to Labbaik Hajj & Umrah Tours

Hajj F.A.Q’s

Do we provide religious guidance during Hajj?

Yes, we do. No matter which package you choose, a knowledgeable religious guide will accompany you throughout the journey. Additionally, an Imam will be present to deliver topic-specific lectures.

How is the Hajj performed?

There are three types of Hajj:

  • Hajj al-Tamattu’
  • Hajj al-Ifrad
  • Hajj al-Qiran
What type of Hajj will we be performing with you?

We perform Hajj al-Tamattu’. This involves performing Umrah followed by Hajj, with separate Ihram for each. This form is considered the best of the three and is the one that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recommended and most overseas pilgrims adopt.

What are the stages of Hajj al-Tamattu’?

The stages and rituals for Hajj al-Tamattu’ include:

  • Ihram
  • Performing the Welcome Tawaf and Sa’i
  • Ihram for Hajj
  • Going to Arafat from Mina
  • Going to Muzdalifah from Arafat
  • Proceeding to Mina from Muzdalifah
  • Tawaf al-Ifadah in Makkah
  • Returning to Mina from Makkah
  • Farewell Tawaf in Makkah
  • Departing for home
How can I offer Qurbani (sacrifice)?

Qurbani is included in some of our Hajj packages and will be carried out on your behalf on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah.

Where will our luggage be kept during Hajj days?

Your luggage will be safely stored in your apartments in Azizyah or in your hotel in Makkah.

Will I have to pay for food or meals?

This depends on the package you have booked.

Will there be laundry service?

Laundry services are provided by the hotel, and there are also local laundrettes offering cheaper rates.

How much money should I take with me?

Carry enough money for food, laundry, shopping, and souvenirs. A few hundred pounds are recommended, though the amount may vary based on personal needs. Avoid traveler’s cheques as carrying cash is more convenient.

What is the exchange rate?

The exchange rate fluctuates but is approximately 4.5 Riyals to 1 British Pound. Money exchange counters are widely available in Makkah and Madinah.

What is the cost of an average meal?

Meals in 4-5 star hotels cost around 155 SAR, while other restaurant prices are about 45 SAR.

Can I take Zam Zam water back to the UK?

While usually allowed, sometimes authorities and airlines restrict it. Announcements are made accordingly. Discuss this with us during your stay for assistance.

What if I get ill during my stay?

We provide first aid and have a qualified doctor from the UK on board for all Hajj packages. We recommend taking travel insurance and carrying essential medications.

What if I cancel after booking?

Full payment is required by the Ministry of Hajj before visa authorisation, so no refund is available for ground arrangements. Ticket refunds depend on airline rules. If the ticket is not issued, no cancellation charges apply. Refer to our cancellation policy for more details.
